Litter Walks
Throughout the year, we work with community partners to organize Neighborhood Litter Walks. These are low-intensity events, excellent for casual adventures with families. At each walk, volunteers follow a local guide for roughly 90 minutes, collecting lightweight litter in public streets and pathways, followed by a social hour at a nearby restaurant or public gathering place. We'll provide all the equipment, you provide the helping hands! Register for an upcoming event or write greg@alleghenycleanways.org to schedule a Litter-Walk in your Neighborhood.
Share your litter cleanup photos with us by contacting lyssa@alleghenycleanways.org or by tagging @AlleghenyCW and @FriendsOftheRiverfront on Instagram!
