Development Director
Position: Full-time, exempt. Flexible schedule that will require some evenings and weekends.
Salary: Starting at a base salary of $55,000 in addition to the benefits listed below:

Position Description: The Development Director is responsible for directing, leading and managing all development activities: grants, individual giving, corporate giving, revenue-generating activities, fundraising events, etc.

Duties:
- Work with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and program staff to set long-term fundraising goals
- Establish an annual fundraising plan, aligned with long-term fundraising goals
- Research grant opportunities and submit grant proposals that support, strengthen, and/or expand organizational programs
- Track and complete grant reports
- Nurture relationships with existing and potential donors
- Work with Executive Director and Program Manager to identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities
- Coordinate with Program Manager, corporate groups, and program staff to create meaningful and appropriate corporate volunteer experiences.
- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies consistent with the fundraising plan
- Maintain a database of development activity
Qualifications/Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience in non-profit fund raising
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments as well as prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently and with team members
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a working knowledge of Canva, Word Press, and Monday.com or other planning software
- Work well with people in various communities, institutional; and governmental organizations; and with individuals from diverse backgrounds
