Follow the 5 Rs toward zero waste:

 Refuse

Politely refuse things you don’t need, including unnecessary packaging and single-use items.

Reduce

Reduce your overall consumption.

Reuse

Ditch disposables for reusables.

Repair or Repurpose

If it’s broken, fix it. If it can’t be fixed, can it be made into something else?

Recycle

Recycle what you can’t refuse, reduce, reuse or repair.
