GrateKeepers

the adopt-a-grate program
Help keep your neighborhood's stormwater grates clean!
GrateKeepers is a stewardship program that allows residents to adopt and regularly maintain a nearby grate.
The removal of litter and debris reduces flooding and makes are rivers cleaner.
Adopt a Grate!

GrateKeepers prevent waste from polluting our rivers
and reduce urban flooding!

How to Become a GrateKeeper

Step 1: Go to the Site Reporter Form

Step 2: Enter an address or coordinates closest to your grate. You can also drop a pin on the map near your grate.

Step 3: Fill out all the information on the page and be sure to select 'GrateKeepers' from the three choices presented.

Step 4: If you have multiple grates you wish to adopt, enter the address or coordinates in the description box. Do not enter multiple grates in the map or start another adoption for additional grates.

Step 5: Press submit! We will contact you with further information and also coordinate a time for you to pick up your GrateKeeper Steward Kit.
