After growing up in the mountains of East Tennessee, Lauren quickly felt at home amongst Pittsburgh and its hills. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University where she studied dance and history and became an avid bike commuter.
She continues to pursue her interest in history through a personal project to visit and research all 800+ sets of city steps, which is what you can usually find her doing in her free time. Lauren believes that access to clean, safe outdoor spaces is a right and not a luxury.
